Hello everyone! I’m Gavin and I am proud to be your 184th President of Durham Law Society. This year, my mission is straightforward: to ensure you get more opportunities to discover and develop. Whether these are firm-focused events, publications or workshops, I hope you’ll make the most of everything we offer and take a step closer to your goals. I am also incredibly proud of our exec team this year. Each of them brings their own enthusiasm and ambition to the society, and I’m excited to see what we will achieve together and the initiatives we have prepared for you all. Lastly and most importantly, putting aside all the applications and networking and whatever commercial awareness means, I truly hope that you will enjoy your university life, get involved, have lots of fun and create memories.
